Andréia Pinto
Biologist and PhD in Sustainable Development of the Humid Tropics from UFPA, she has worked as a researcher at Imazon since 2006. She studies land-use planning, sustainable management and use of non-timber forest products, municipal environmental management, and forest restoration. She also represents Imazon in associations such as the Alliance for Restoration in the Amazon and the Restoration Observatory.
Brenda Brito
Lawyer, has a master's and PhD degree in Legal Science from Stanford University (USA). Associate researcher at Imazon, she has been working for over 20 years to improve laws and policies for the conservation of the Amazon rainforest, improve land management, and mitigate climate change, with over 50 publications on these topics. She has been following the COPs on climate change since 2008 and is Imazon's representative in the Climate Observatory network.
